Week 58- Transfers, miracles, and etc..

Monday and Tuesday were filled with lots of member visits because we found out Sunday night that Sister Chase was leaving :( But it was a great opportunity for me to get to know members that I had never met. Tuesday we also had lunch and a lesson with Randy and Krystal, our solid, golden investigators. We talked about baptism and confirmation, and how everything was going to happen. They are so excited to get baptized. We also had family history training on Tuesday and that was super phun! I had to leave half way through though because they had asked me to do the musical number the next day for transfer meeting! Talk about last minute!!

Wednesday was the big transfer meeting, we met our new companions. My new companion is a Spanish speaking sister, so we are what they call a "zebra" companionship. One English, one Spanish. Ill be expecting to be learning alot of Spanish this transfer.

Thursday we had a few appointments but we also did some contacting. We had an appointment with Randy and Krystal again! They are so awesome! We had a lesson with a less active girl that hasn't been back to church since she was 8 and she is 19 now. She went to the Visitors Center at the Mesa Temple and decided she needed a change in her life. So now we are teaching her the lessons and helping her gain her testimony back! Later that night we also had a member lesson with the St. Gelias family :) Super fun!

Friday was fun too! We had a lesson with the Randy and Krystal, we invited them to pray to know if the Book of Mormon was true, right there with us. Krystal knows its true, Randy is still wanting to know more. But that's good too, that he wants a real commitment.

We painted the walls in our house Saturday it was so fun! & Saturday we had stake conference and they came to that as well. Randy got to talk to the stake president and then told us after they got to talk that he was officially getting baptized! I don't know what the stake president said, but whatever he said, had changed his mind! Which is awesome!

Sunday we had Stake conference again, and it was great! We had a lesson with Randy and Krystal again after stake conference and they are SO ready for baptism! Its so exciting.

Hope your week is going well. This is Sister Holcomb signing off.

:)

P.S. Enjoy the pictures!
