WOW, that's all I can say about this week.. We had an amazing past week. Long story short, I got a new companion because my other companion got transferred to a Spanish ward, and so my new companion is Sister Farmer. She is from Seaside, OR. She is way sweet & super fun! We are basically the same person. Both short, cute, fun, outgoing, and both love to run! Ive never had a comp that liked to run until now, and its amazing. Plus being in shape is a plus ;) We both dress the same and also both like sushi! Its probably been the best week of my mission! We are excited to keep working together! & I'm pretty sure President wont separate us with the kind of miracles we are doing! (considering I only have 12 weeks left!..... that's so crazy)
Monday was the day that I met and got put with Sister Farmer, it was definitely a crazy day for sure, we ended up switching who was in the house too. So we live with Sisters in our zone! We ended up just unpacking and getting everything situated. Later that night, we had a dinner and lesson with Krystal and Randy. And a member lesson with the Millers :)
Tuesday We had normal district meeting, and than after that we had to grocery shopping because of how busy it had been the night before. Stopped by a few less actives and got return appointments! We saw the horse on Tuesday too, and we just looked at each other and said... "Only in Santan Valley..."
Wednesday we went to family history training, and than had a lesson with a less active named Cody, we went over with the singles ward elders and they had invited him to go to the Singles ward and he said yes! We also taught a member lesson to a coming back family, the Fullers. There so awesome! :)
Thursday we had soooo much to do! We contacted a lot & gained 2 new investigators! We had a lesson with one of them and showed him the "because of him" video. The spirit was soo strong! We asked him if he would like to learn more and he said yes! We later that night had a another lesson with a street contact, that I had talked to, and his name is John. Well, we taught him too!
Friday we had planning meeting & family home afternoon with a senior couple with our zone! It was way fun. We played games and had treats:)
Saturday was PACKED! We had 9 appointments scheduled for the day, and only 2 fell through. Here is what we had that day.... 3 investigator lessons, we gave away 3 Book of Mormons, had 4 less active lessons and 1 member lesson. It was awesome!
Sunday was mostly a relax day, but not really. Church at 9 to 12, but we had a lesson planned for 11 with John, and a lesson for Bryan at 12. (A members boyfriend) Then church again at 1 to 4. We had a break the fast & than headed to dinner. The family was SOO funny. After dinner we went around and tried to talk to as many people as possible. It was so fun!
I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! It was such a great week! We saw miracles EVERYDAY!
Love you all & Talk to you next week! ♥
