This weeek was AMAZINGGG!!! Of course, everyday as a missionary is amazing, whether good or bad! As we are diligent in doing the things we should we see miracles all through out the week! Monday we had lots of things to do, even during the day... it always seems like the day just flies by! We had a dinner appointment with a family that has some youth that we are teaching, we had a lesson with a recently convert to the church about family history, and the new familysearch.org website, and than we had a lesson with another member family, so that night was pretty full! We came home and just crashed!
Next day we had so much going on too! We went to a not active members home, and talked with her. She had been struggling and really wondering if she wanted to be apart of the church anymore. In this situation, it really strengthened my testimony of what I know to be true, and really having a love for the things that I know! All I really wanted to do was help her, but she didn't want the help. She still love us missionaries, but is just struggling right now. We had a lesson with another family, we taught them the restoration, and we talked about inviting there friends to come to church or other activities! We had a lesson with another family, that recently there son just joined the church, we taught them about family history as well!
Wednesday we got to go help at the Easter pageant, we got to go and invite people to check out the visitors center! Plus watch the pageant after as well, it was so great! And definitely touching. The pageant just tells about the life of Christ and talks about his death and Resurrection! Its pretty awesome!
Thursday & Friday we were contacting lots of potential investigators! And Saturday we got to help with the special Olympics locally, it was so fun, and so sweet to watch all the kids participate and receive awards! We got to help with a cute group, 10 year old group. They were running the 200! It was ADORABLE!
Sunday was WAY awesome. We had church, and it was fast and testimony meeting. We were able to hear the great testimonies of all the members and even the youth! The youth are so strong! Its been way cool to get to know all of them! We than had break the fast with the ward, were everyone brings food and we all get to eat together! After the break the fast we had a lesson with a less active family and we taught them about the restoration, and talked about being with our families forever! It was such a strong spirited lesson! They said they wanted there family to be forever, so we are helping them work towards the temple!
Anyway, its been a good week! God bless you all, until next week!
